ABOUT KAILASH YOGA SCHOOL AND HOLISTIC HEALING

Kailash School of Yoga and Holistic Healing is located in Mcleodganj, near Dharamshala. It is located in a quiet and beautiful area and there is easy access to the town and other amenities. The centre aspires to embrace and demonstrate the yogic way of life to people that come and study with the school. It is the schools and its teacher’s heartfelt desire to transmit the knowledge, theory, practice and therapeutic aspects of a holistic lifestyle to all students.

Kailash School of Yoga and Holistic Healing was established on March 1st 2002 following the completion of Director Yogi Sivadas’s Yoga Teacher Training course at the Sivananda centre in Kerala. Yogi Sivadas had taught yoga previous to this through other establishments and had developed a great sensitivity to the needs of his students. Gradually the school started to offer drop in yoga classes, massage treatments/ courses and Reiki treatments/courses.

The Kailash School of Yoga is registered with Yoga Alliance. The Yoga Teacher Training Course is recognized and approved by Yoga Alliance and students will be able to register themselves as teacher with Yoga Alliance following the successful completion of the course.

Experience a peacefull envrionment without any of the distractions found in this populated world. The large, newly built yoga hall is perfect for yoga, meditation and with perfect acoustics for chanting mantras and experiencing sound therapy.

Get to know your fellow students every evening with discussions, bhajans, and movies. Live traditional devotional music or classical music is occasionaly arranged.
